The Mummy MOT® is a post-natal assessment recommended for women following both vaginal and caesarean deliveries, whether 6 weeks, 8 weeks, or even many years after birth.
In countries like France, this review is considered a standard post-natal rehabilitation treatment for every new mother. It enables a medical practitioner to check how your posture, pelvic floor muscles and stomach muscles are healing after your little one has arrived, then recommend interventions to speed up your recovery if you are still feeling uncomfortable or experiencing pain.
During your Mummy MOT®, our women’s health physiotherapists will assess the strength and function of the tummy and pelvic floor muscles. From here, they will suggest exercises and other treatment methods to help manage your current symptoms, get you back to full fitness, and prevent long-term childbirth-related complaints.
We operate our women’s health physiotherapy clinic in Greenwich and welcome patients from across London and the surrounding areas.
